We can help any child who struggles to read, spell, write, do mental math, or just slow in learning.

We are private tutors for students with special needs. We provide effective and intensive one- to-one learning strategies, lessons and interventions for students ( aged 5 to 14 years ) who struggle to learn, especially with reading, spelling, comprehension, and mental mathematics.Our methods have been effective in addresing the problem of inattention or weak memory that the child may have.

If a child has received good reading instructions and still cannot read, the child should be checked for a learning disorder, such as dyslexia, autism or attention deficit hyperactivity disoder (ADHD). Our learning interventions usually begin from reading for most of our struggling learners. Without the ability to read, learning is practically impossible. So we provide a reading recovery program that combines phonological training with hands-on visual designs. We take advantage of all learning pathways - seeing, listening, touching, etc. We study the child for his strengths and for the best ways he can learn. Thank God we have many different approaches to help in different situations.

For students who struggle with comprehension, we explore strategies that will help them to form a mental picture and create drawings for the story, build sufficient vocabulary, and make connections between what they read and what they know already. We also tap into their reasoning faculty with open-ended questions such as ‘Why did things happen that way?’ or ‘What is the writer trying to do here?’ and ‘Why is this somewhat impossible?’ We teach them the structure of different types of reading materials and what they will expect from each.

We have successfully worked with students throughout Lagos especially in Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah and Ibeju Lekki. Our tutors have been specially trained to work with students who have learning struggles.

If you have a child who has been diagnosed of a learning disability like dyslexia, ASD or ADHD, you will need a specialist dyslexia/autism tutor who will help the child to overcome his struggles and succeed in learning. And if you suspect your child has a learning difference, you need to seek outside-school help for screening, evaluation and intervention. Sadly most schools do not understand special needs, let alone design or implement a working learning program for the child concerned.
